Stridely at the Talipapa Market Cultural Festival: Community, Culture, and Connection

What a beautiful day of culture, community, and connection at the Talipapa Market Cultural Festival at the Filipino Community Center in Seattle!

From all of us at Stridely, thank you so much for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful community celebration.

Events like this remind us that small business is about so much more than selling a product. It is about meeting people, hearing their stories, building relationships, supporting one another, and celebrating the community that continues to lift us up.

We truly enjoyed seeing familiar faces and meeting so many new ones throughout the festival.

To everyone who stopped by our booth just to say hello, ask questions, learn more about Stridely, or share a quick conversation with us — thank you. Those little moments mean more than you probably realize.

And to everyone who purchased our compression socks, sports socks, and wellness products, thank you for choosing to support a nurse-owned small business. Every purchase allows us to continue growing Stridely while also creating more wellness, movement, education, and community events.

One of my favorite parts of attending community events is being able to personally talk with people about why Stridely exists.

As a nurse, I understand what it feels like to spend long hours standing, walking, working, caring for others, and sometimes forgetting to care for ourselves.

Stridely was created from that experience.

Our mission has always been bigger than socks. We want to encourage people to take care of their bodies, keep moving, prioritize their wellness, and remember that caring for yourself is part of being able to continue showing up for the people and dreams that matter to you.

Being surrounded by Filipino businesses, organizations, families, creatives, and community members at the Talipapa Market Cultural Festival made the experience even more special.

There is something powerful about seeing our community support one another.

When we support local businesses, share someone’s work, stop by their booth, recommend them to a friend, or simply offer an encouraging word, we help create opportunities for everyone to grow.

So once again, thank you to the Talipapa Market Cultural Festival and the Filipino Community Center of Seattle for having Stridely.

And most importantly, thank you to every single person who visited us, said hello, shared a smile, supported our products, or simply took a moment to learn about what we are building.
